The former National Security Minister under Akuffo Addo government, Mr. Albert Kan Dapaah has elegized the chiefs and people of Acherensuaman in the Asutifi South district of the Ahafo region for their dedication and commitment in ensuring a dream come true
According to him, its recommendable the efforts and selflessness of all to ensure that Acherensua today can also boost of having a tertiary education of a university for the development of the people
Speaking at a launching of homecoming event as the special gust of honour, over the weekend, Mr. Kan Dapaah stressed the need for unity to foster development

For his loyalty to the service of his people and country, the Acherensua Traditional Council conferred on Mr. Dapaah Nana Gyan Atuahene to signify their appreciation for his stewardship.
The Member of Parliament for Asutifi South, Alhaji Collins Dauda who has etched his name in the history books of the country’s political landscape, becoming the only Member of Parliament to serve eight terms in Parliament revealed that Acherensua is the first community in the district to have a Senior High School
It is therefore not surprising according to him for Acherensuah to be the first community to have university
“Our forefathers did their part, it’s time for us to continue on the good path they laid for Acherensuaman, it’s a collective effort, my people let us all come together to sure this dream becomes a reality
Haruna Iddrisu, Minister of Education assured the people he will do the needful by leaving a legacy under the presidency of President Mahama have university education delivered
The Education Minister revealed government’s plans to expand the Achrensua SHS “For the school to proudly produce a justice of the Supreme Court you have done well, I had a request that you want Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to team education to become part of Acherensua SHS, consider it done” he said
