As part of the fight against corruption the judiciary will need to undergo reforms, a United States-based Ghanaian professor Kwaku Asare has said.
Prof Asare explained that thorough investigations into acts of corruption can be done but will not yield any positive results if an inefficient and ineffective court system handles cases.
To that end, he said implementing these reforms would be a bold and necessary step toward combating corruption and strengthening the nation’s governance framework.
Without these reforms, our efforts will remain merely rhetorical, with no tangible impact on the fight against corruption.
