The Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) Sulemanan Braimah has served notice that they will keep a close eye on the new Mahama administration to expose any corrupt act.

He reminded the yet-to-be-sworn-in Mahama administration that they cannot engage in looting when they are retrieving state items wrongly taken by members of the Akufo-Addo administration.

In a post on his X page, he said “Dear Friends in the NDC, Congratulations to you. One of the things I eagerly look forward to is ORAL.

“But let me be clear with you, you cannot recover the loot from others while you also loot. We’ll be keeping an eagle eye on you. Without greed, we can build a better Ghana for all.”

Dr. John Kwakye, Director of Research at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), also emphasized that Ghanaians expect Mahama to bring about the much-needed change.

In a post on his X page, Dr. Kwakye stated, “Congratulations, President Mahama, for your bold, inspired, and hard-fought comeback.

“It is the hope of Ghanaians that you will use this second opportunity and your experience to bring about the necessary change to meet their aspirations through inclusive government.
