Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, Founder and Leader of the Movement for Change and Alliance for Revolutionary Change, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their emphatic victory in the 2024 General Elections.
In a statement issued, Mr. Kyerematen acknowledged the voice of the Ghanaian people, despite the Electoral Commission yet to formally declare the results.
“It is very clear that the people of Ghana have spoken. I urge all Ghanaians to accept the decision of the Ghanaian electorate once the official results are released, in order to preserve the peace of our dear nation,” he stated.
He also commended all presidential and parliamentary candidates for their responsible conduct, which he believes contributed to making this year’s elections one of the most peaceful in Ghana’s history.
Expressing his condolences, Mr. Kyerematen extended sympathies to the family of the individual who reportedly lost their life during the elections, as well as to those who sustained injuries.
“This election has no winners or losers—it is Ghana that has emerged victorious through the mercy and grace of our Living God,” Mr. Kyerematen emphasized.
The statement concluded with a prayer for continued peace and progress in Ghana: “God bless our homeland Ghana and make our nation great and strong!”
The Movement for Change and Alliance for Revolutionary Change remains committed to promoting democratic values and fostering national unity.
