Mr. Ofori Kankam, who serves as the Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.) and is a brother to Mr. Anim Addo Sampong, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of October Ranch Agro and Livestock Industry, has pledged to contribute to the development of the Offinso Municipality through their farming activities.
He made this statement while receiving the 2nd runner-up award on behalf of their CEO, Mr. Anim Addo Sampong, during the recent Farmer’s Day program.
The organization specializes in a variety of agro and livestock activities, including poultry, piggery, snail farming, guinea fowl, cattle, sheep, goats, peacocks, fishing, and cash crop cultivation. Their mechanized irrigation methods support the production of crops such as maize, green pepper, tomatoes, chili pepper, coconut, cassava, and plantain.
The P.R.O. shared these details after their CEO, Mr. Anim Addo Sampong, won the 2nd runner-up position at the recent Farmer’s Day celebration in the Offinso Municipality.
October Ranch Agro and Livestock Industry has also initiated social intervention projects to benefit the entire municipality and the region. They are constructing a police post for the Offinso Bonsua community, building a hostel facility for nurses who will serve or work permanently at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Offinso Dome, and planning to launch Radio Ofin to serve the Offinso community.
Mr. Ofori Kankam took the opportunity to thank the organizers of the Farmer’s Day program for recognizing their CEO’s efforts with the 3rd prize, celebrating him as the third-best farmer in the municipality. He expressed optimism that October Ranch would secure the top award in the years to come.
