The founder of the Professional Football Association of Ghana (PFAG), Anthony Baffoe has advised young footballers to acquire education while playing actively.
The former CAF Deputy General Secretary emphasized the immense potential within every individual, regardless of their educational background.
Speaking at the 2024 Afro Sport Summit in Accra, Baffoe emphasized that every individual possesses immense potential, regardless of their educational background.
He encouraged young players not to view a lack of formal education as a hindrance in their football careers or any other field, highlighting the accessibility of online platforms for acquiring educational certifications.
“Young players today are very lucky,” the former Black Stars defender said at the 2024 Afro Sport Summit in Accra.
Before adding, “Covid has taught us that you can be in one place and working and studying online you can spend one hour on Instagram, you can spend one hour learning a course online. Don’t wait until your career is ending.”
In the African setting, a lot of people see football as a career for the ones that are not intelligent but that perception has changed over the years now.
