FC Samartex 1996, the reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League, have announced the contract extension of winger Francis Gyetuah ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
Gyetuah, a key player in the team’s historic title-winning campaign, has signed a two-year extension, committing to the club until 2026.
The announcement was made on the club’s official social media platforms on Saturday. Francis Gyetuah expressed his enthusiasm and dedication to FC Samartex 1996, emphasizing his desire to contribute to the club’s future successes. He played 29 games and scored one goal in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
“I am extremely thrilled to extend my stay with my boyhood club until 2026. I love this club and its project that is why I have decided to be part in the next two years to build a timeless legacy,” said Francis Gyetuah.
With this extension, Gyetuah has reiterated his 100 percent commitment to the Timber Giants, aiming to play a vital role in the club’s continued development and success in the upcoming seasons.
