Guinness World Record Sing-a-thon attemptee, Afua Asantewaa has offered herself to be dragged by social media users.
After her disqualification news, the internet sensation has been trending across social media platforms, jumping from one radio or television station to the other.
Many Ghanaians have said that the internet sensation should give them a break because, after all, she was disqualified by the Guinness World Record.
To most Ghanaians, had it not been her sing-a-thon attempt, no radio or television station would have given Afua the platform to spew “rubbish”.
These statements did not sound pleasant in the ears of the internet sensation, hence, has come out to reply to netizens.
In her reply, Afua Asantewaa claims she was very famous even before she started her sing-a-thon attempt.

“Although I will not rule out the fact that sing-a-thon made a lot more people know about me, I was famous in my own way”, she said.
According to her, she had interviewed almost all the actors, actresses, musicians, and top-notch celebrities in the county before she started her sing-a-thon attempt.
Afua Asantewaa claims the likes of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Vice President Bawumia just to mention a few all supported her during her attempt because she had already built a rapport with them.
“First of all, sina-a-thon was not for fame because I already had it. I meet celebrities all the time and all those who passed through the Akwaaba village during my singing marathon were people I encounter often,” she said
“I am a journalist and I have interviewed almost all the actors, musicians and celebs who came to show me love at the Akwaaba Village, so it’s not like I was seeing them for the first time”, she added.
