In a proactive move to fortify the connection between the administrative body and dedicated headteachers, the Afigya Kwabre North Education Directorate launched a pivotal project 20th February, 2024. This initiative aims to foster stronger ties between the office and the hardworking headteachers who drive the educational landscape forward.
Under the directive of the District Director, Ms. Ellen Gyekyewa Eshun, key stakeholders including Heads of departments, the Training Officer, the PRO, the IT Officer, and the SISO for Kyekyewere Circuit convened to kickstart this significant endeavor.
The inaugural session unfolded at the Kyekyewere Circuit today, where all Headteachers from basic schools within the circuit showcased their efforts through detailed PowerPoint presentations. Each presentation delved into the activities executed thus far, pending implementations, strengths, weaknesses, and strategies for future endeavors outlined in their action plans.
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the Directorate, the District Director conveyed appreciation for the cooperation received. She reiterated the unwavering support of the Directorate towards enhancing teaching and learning within the District.
The itinerary for this comprehensive assessment spans various circuits, with upcoming sessions scheduled as follows:
- Thursday, 22nd February: Tetrem Circuit
- Friday, 23rd February: Boamang B Circuit
- Monday, 26th February: Boamang A Circuit
- Tuesday, 27th February: Ahenkro Circuit
- Wednesday, 28th February: Denase Circuit
