Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong and his Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro colleague, Sylvester Tetteh, have reconciled following a near altercation between them early on in Parliament.
The two MPs were involved in a heated exchange on Tuesday, February 13, during a session of the House. While the exact cause of the confrontation remains unclear, tensions escalated to the point of nearly coming to blows.
However, in a surprising turn of events, the two MPs were captured in photos and videos inside Parliament engaging in friendly conversation, sharing jokes, and laughing heartily together.
Deputy Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin and Majority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh reportedly played a pivotal role in facilitating the reconciliation between the two MPs.
The presence of Afenyo-Markin and Annoh-Dompreh evidently helped diffuse the situation, as Mr Agyapong and Mr Tetteh appeared to have put their differences aside and reconciled, demonstrating a spirit of camaraderie amidst the laughter and jovial atmosphere.
