Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kwaprow, located within the Cape Coast North Constituency of the Central Region, have expressed their unwavering support for the area’s incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Kwamena Minta Nyarko.
Despite political affiliations, these NPP members have vowed to vote for Hon. Minta Nyarko again in the upcoming 2024 general election, citing his remarkable development projects within the community.
The declaration came after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP inaugurated a newly designated taxi rank for the community, a project which garnered praise from residents.
In interviews with Sompa News, community members lauded the MP for his efforts in providing essential infrastructure, particularly highlighting the significance of the taxi rank for local traders.
Chairman of the Kwaprow Co-operative Drivers Union, Mr. Thomas Ackon, expressed gratitude to Hon. Minta Nyarko for the taxi rank and encouraged residents to utilize the facility for convenient transportation services.
Hon. Kwamena Minta Nyarko, explaining the motivation behind the establishment of the taxi rank, emphasized the importance of addressing safety concerns on urban roads and securing a dedicated space for parking. He further highlighted various developmental initiatives undertaken in the community, including the establishment of a CHPS Compound, road construction, and educational support programs.
The MP’s commitment to addressing community needs and fostering development has earned him praise from both NPP members and opposition groups alike. Residents expressed readiness to continue supporting Hon. Minta Nyarko’s endeavors for the betterment of Kwaprow.
