In a recent interview, celebrated musician Albert Apoozore, widely known as King Ayisoba, shed light on his choice to refrain from taking on more wives.
Currently married to two women with seven children, the musician explained that he is content with his family size and does not wish to increase financial responsibilities associated with additional offspring.
Expressing his perspective, King Ayisoba emphasized that, at his current age, he desires to avoid the pressures that come with raising more children, particularly the escalating financial demands such as increased school fees.
He articulated, “I have two wives with seven children. I don’t intend to marry again because the more we grow, the more the school fees increase, so it’s not easy. At my age, I don’t want too much pressure, so I want to maintain myself like this.”
Known for his distinctive musical style that fuses traditional Ghanaian music with contemporary genres, King Ayisoba rose to prominence in 2006 with his chart-topping song ‘I Want To See You My Father.’ The artist’s candid revelation provides insight into his personal choices and considerations at this stage of his life.
