In a recent development, Abdul Hamidu Fatawu of Medeama SC has officially joined the Black Stars at their training camp in Nashville, Tennessee.
His presence is in preparation for Ghana’s upcoming international friendly against the United States of America, scheduled for Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
The left-back, Abdul Hamidu Fatawu, who made his international debut just last month, was notably absent from Ghana’s first friendly against Mexico. His absence in that match was due to prior commitments with his club, involving an international friendly against DC United at Audi Field in Washington, which took place on Saturday.
To gear up for the upcoming clash against the United States, Hamidu will be training with the squad on Monday. This session is part of Ghana’s ongoing preparations as they look to conclude the international window on a high note. The team suffered a 2-0 defeat against Mexico at the Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
The next international friendly for Ghana will be held at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, where they will take on the United States of America.
